Apple Pie
Ingredients
Crust
2½ Cups spelt flour
½ teaspoon sea salt
2 Tablespoons coconut oil
¼ Cup agave syrup
4 to 6 Tablespoons ice water
Filling
6 Apple cut in thin strips
1½ Tablespoon spelt flour
½ Teaspoon cinnamon powder
½ Teaspoon nutmeg
1 Tablespoon lime juice
5 Tablespoons agave syrup
Method
Crust
  1. Combine all you ingredients in a bowl and knead to form a dough, set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Use a rolling pin to roll out the bottom dough to about a ¼ inches thick and the top dough half the size of the bottom dough .
  3. Place the ¼ inches dough in a pie dish.
Filling
  1. Place all your ingredients in a bowl and use a wooden spoon to combine.
  2. Put filling onto dough in pie dish and cover with the top layer and seal with fingers.
  3. Put in a pre heated oven at 425 degrees F and bake for 40-45 minutes, set aside to cool for 2 hours before serving.
