Kale With Fried Green Bananas
4 fingers green banana
½ cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sea salt
2 cups chopped kale
½ sliced okra
1 red onion chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 red pepper
2 plum tomatoes chopped
1 teaspoon cilantro
½ teaspoon basil leaves
1teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon parsley
Cayenne pepper and sea salt to taste
1 Peel the bananas and cut into cubes about ½ inch pieces.
2 Heat oil and fry until they are golden. About 10 minutes per side.
4 Drain on a paper towel.
1 Heat oil add all vegetables except kale and sauté for 5 minutes.
2 Add kale and combine with vegetable mixture.
3 Add herbs and spice and steam until kale and okra are tender for about 10 minutes.
