Pasta and Sesame Salad

A little sesame oil in this salad does produce a very nice flavor, surprisingly. Give it a shot, we tried it and loved it. Don’t sleep on this salad, it’s very sneaky. It seems quite basic, yet it contains a lot of powerful ingredients.

Ingredients
1 head romaine lettuce (chopped)
2 Tablespoons black sesame seeds
1 Cup cooked kamut spiral pasta
¼ Cup Sliced red bell pepper
¼ Purple onion (sliced)
1 Teaspoon Jalapeño pepper (finely chopped)
1 Teaspoon lime juice (one key lime)
1 Teaspoon agave
1 Teaspoon sesame oil
2 Tablespoons olive oil
½ Plum tomato (diced)
Pinch Turmeric
Method
  1. Combine all ingredients, mix everything together a little, serve and enjoy.
