Banana Okra Coconut Milk Soup

It is always better to consume your minerals in liquid form and warm.


2 Cups coconut milk
2 Cups Water
2 Green bananas, peeled and sliced
8 Okras
1 Chayote, sliced
¼ Cup onion, chopped
1 Stalk of scallion
1 Sprig of thyme
1 Habanero pepper
4 Cherry tomato, chopped
1 Tablespoon olive oil
¼ Teaspoon allspice
1 Tablespoon turmeric
¼ Teaspoon coriander powder
¼ Teaspoon dill weed
¼ Teaspoon oregano
Dash of sea salt

  1. In a pot, heat oil, add onion, scallion, thyme, oregano, tomato, allspice, turmeric, coriander, dill weed, salt and oregano and stir fry for 5 minutes.
  2. Add water and pepper and cook for about 5 minutes, add bananas, chayote and cook for 20 minutes or until bananas and chayote is tender.
  3. Add coconut milk, okras and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.
