Coconut Gizzadas
1½ cup spelt flour
¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
Pinch sea salt
1 tablespoon vegan butter
½ cup ice cold water
7 tablespoons agave syrup
6 tablespoon water
2 cups grated coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch sea salt
1 Combine dry ingredient cut in butter.
2 Add water in small portion and use a wooden spoon to combine.
3 Use your hand to knead flour in stiff dough.
4 Use a rolling pin to roll dough about ¼ inch thin and cut in small circles.
5 Pinch edge of dough to form a cup shape for the filling.
6 Placed on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F.
1 Add water to grated coconut and boil until water dissolved.
2 Add vanilla and salt.
3 Add agave and continue cooking until coconut start sticking together and golden brown.
4 Fill each moled crust with coconut filling and bake in oven for a next 20 minutes.
