Curried Chickpeas with Dumplings

Curried Chickpeas
2 cup chickpeas cooked
1 red pepper chopped
1 green pepper chopped
½ red onion
1 sprig of thyme
2 stalk of scallions finely chopped
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 cup coconut milk
2 tablespoons spelt flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon cilantro
½ teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 tablespoons water
Sea salt to taste
1 Heat oil and add cumin and turmeric.
2 Add vegetables and sauté.
3 Add chickpeas to sauté vegetables .
4 Add herbs and spices along with coconut milk and cook for 10 minutes
5 Add four table spoon water to spelt flour and mix well. 6 Add flour mixture to chickpeas and stir until thicken leave to simmer for 15 minutes
