Homemade Chocolate with Walnuts

Another quick snack that is fun and healthy for you and the children.


¾ Cup cocoa butter (chopped finely)
¼ Cup cacao powder
Any natural sweetener for sweetening
3 Tablespoons chopped walnuts
Pinch of sea salt

  1. Set aside about 10 mini cupcake cups or more on a plate.
  2. Add about 2 inches of water to a medium size pot and heat at medium temperature.
  3. Place a heat-proof glass or any regular container inside of the heated pot (not touching the water)
  4. Add cocoa butter to the glass container and allow it to melt.
  5. Add cacao and stir until smooth then add the other ingredients.
  6. Remove glass from heat and pour mixture into the mini cupcake cups.   
  7. Place mixture in the freezer for about 20 minutes or until harden before eating.
