There are two types of minerals, macrominerals and microminerals. Macrominerals are known as bulk minerals and microminerals are known as trace minerals. The list of macrominerals includes calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, sodium, potassium, phosphorus and sulfur. These minerals are to be taken in larger amount as oppose to the trace minerals which include chromium, cobalt, copper, fluoride, iodine, iron, manganese, selenium and zinc.
